Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
IFS therapy helps you understand the different parts of yourself with compassion, creating lasting healing and a stronger connection to your authentic self.
Book NowYou are not one thing. You are many parts, and they are all trying to help.
Have you ever felt like different parts of you want completely different things? The part that wants to rest and the part that cannot stop working. The part that wants connection and the part that pushes people away. The part that knows you are doing okay and the part that is convinced everything is falling apart.
Internal Family Systems therapy is built on the idea that this is not a sign of dysfunction. It is how human beings are made. We all have parts, and most of our struggles come from parts that are working very hard to protect us. Sometimes this really helps and sometimes it can make things hard. .
The goal of IFS is not to get rid of difficult parts. It is to understand them, build a relationship with them, and gently help them let go of the burdens they have been carrying.

Do any of these feel familiar?
If these resonate, IFS may be the approach that reaches what others have not.
- You have an inner critic that is relentless and exhausting
- You find yourself doing things you do not want to do and not understanding why
- You feel numb or shut down in situations where you expected to feel something
- You self-sabotage and cannot figure out what that part of you is trying to do
- You work hard in therapy but feel like you are circling the same things without getting to the root
- You feel like different parts of you are in conflict and you are stuck in the middle
- You want to understand yourself more deeply, not just manage your symptoms better

How IFS therapy works

We get to know the parts that are most present for you right now. This is a gentle, curious process. There is no forcing or cleaning house. .
We build a relationship between you and your parts. This means helping you access what IFS calls the Self, a state of calm, curious, compassionate presence that every person has, regardless of their history.
We work with the protective parts, understanding why they do what they do, and what they are afraid would happen if they stopped. When parts feel understood, they often naturally relax.
We help the parts that carry pain, what IFS calls exiles, release the burdens they have been holding. This is where the deepest and most lasting change tends to happen.
